I can’t believe this is the last new episode of Glee until Fall. I have been playing “Faithfully” so much that I’m picturing scenarios for its powerfulness on TV (like Finn and Rachel sharing a kiss before the song and all those Rachel runs at the end were pure moment/passion/…but that’s just me talking crazy…I’m such a Gleek it’s not even ). I do have some questions going into this finale though. Spoilers ahead if you aren’t caught up.

1) Did Jessie and Rachel really break up because Rachel used Jessie in a video? lol. I mean, sure, get mad, but break up? Too dramatic for something so silly. Kind of like how Jessie randomly transferred to Rachel’s school in his senior year. Soooo random.

2) Rachel/mom situation happened way too fast, no? I would have appreciated a little more unraveling…felt like I missed an episode..But those duets? SO GREAT. “I Dreamed A Dream” with Lea and Idina = was meant to be).

I guess that was it. But can I just say how much I love the Volume 3 “Show Stoppers” album by Glee Cast? The Kristen Chenoweth songs from the “Home” episode are also quite wonderful. I’m literally anxious for tonight…wouldn’t it be crazy if the cliff hanger was like “And the winner of regionals is…” END. That would be insane. Or if they showed like everyone’s faces right before? I am so excited right now. Going crazy.

Glee. Season 1. Finale. Tonight. FOX.

You know what’s really awesome? The Glee Cast sang a song from the season 1 finale for Glee Live tour (last month). It was actually the first time I heard this song too (at 3 Glee shows in NY), but the recording is even sicker (bows down to Lea Michele and her vocal runs). I normally don’t listen to songs before the episodes (spoilers are not my friend), but I couldn’t help myself this time. I only listened to “Faithfully” because I HAD to. Make sure you watch the Glee season finale this coming Tuesday June 8th (and buy this mini album then too)! “I’m still yooooooouuuuuuurrrrrssssss!!!!!!!…faithfully.” In other news: this is going to be the first summer without Glee. Remember how last summer was ONLY about “Don’t Stop Believin”? Well…this summer will be  about…Glee withdrawal..for sure.

Here are the last bit of videos I have from my Glee adventure this weekend (I may or may not have seen them more than twice in two days…oops). As I’ve mentioned, I was in the front row pit for all of these videos, so they’re close up but the sound is just ok (and certainly doesn’t do enough justice). I hope it’s like being there :) / More review type stuff and pictures in a bit.

I just have to write this before I traipse off to the city once again. I was front row pit at Radio City Music Hall in NYC last night for Glee Live (thanks to ticket brokers). I really had low expectations for this considering the crossover from TV to a live stage (“who can sing? who can’t?”), but holy crap was I wrong. I was expecting only a few numbers from the first half of the season. Wrong. They performed everything from “Like A Prayer” to “Bad Romance” to “Somebody to Love.” Rachel and Kurt put on a very harmonious performance of “Defying Gravity.” Rachel re-lived her show-stopping “Don’t Rain On My Parade.” She even wore the same outfit and even walked through the hall (just like in the show). It gets better. She walked right in front of me when going to go back on the stage. Not to mention so did Quinn, Tina, and Brittany (high fived them all except Rachel). As for Brittany, she was so nice and kept waving and smiling (at me :) . They performed “It’s My Life/Confessions,” “Halo/Walking on Sunshine,” Tina rocked it out with “True Colors” and even started crying (saw her wipe her tears even, gotcha!). Puck performed “Sweet Caroline” and “Lady is a Tramp.” Artie performed “Dancing with Myself.”Mercedes performed “Beautiful,” “Bust Your Windows,” and even performed “The Boy Is Mine” with Santana. Shuster even performed “Over The Rainbow” with Puck (with the Glee kids sitting/Rachel admiring with gazed eyes right behind them). This is obviously just the shorter review (and I will fill in the details). All I know is, I was so happy to see the ENTIRE Glee Club performing. Everything from promotional posters to appearances on Oprah made it seem like it wasn’t going to be the full crew, but it was, and that made it even better. These people are so effing talented. Seeing them live really showed me what stars these kids are (Brittany, you are one SICK dancer). Speaking of Brittany..she had a few speaking parts throughout the show just being plain old Brittany…it was perfect. But more perfect: the entire cast recreating moments that I have loved (many, many moments).

Not to mention a guest video (followed by a real) appearance by Shuster and Sue Sylvester. Shu was basically on the video pushing his kids to put on a great show. Sue was doing quite the opposite. She had Cheerios hand out barf bags before the show and later when she came out on stage, Sue said: “Why are you still here?!? What’s wrong with you?!” This reminds me, the show was very much trying to recreate moments from the show…and…well…it worked like a charm. Everything from bringing out a truck during Mercedes “Bust Your Windows” to exact outfits from the show. Pure heaven for any Gleek, that’s for sure. The cast was so cute and smiley at all times, with every smile and glance of the eyes driving Gleeks in the crowd stir-crazy (myself very much included). Saw Sue Sylvester leave in a cop car, Puck leave in his own van.

Let’s talk about the singing. It was fantastic. I’m really in it for the Rachel and Mercedes powerhouse vocals, but everyone ELSE was on point and entertaining too. Finn and Puck? Talented guys with great voices. Does TV-autotuning sometimes make us weary? Of course. But talent nonetheless. I’ve been reading about the possibility of a back up track and to be honest, there definitely was something. But from everything I could see (and I am really good at spotting lip syncers), they were mostly singing live (and sounding good too).

More to come. Here’s some pictures. I’ll fill in more soon.

So I thought life was over when I literally missed the original Glee audition this past Monday (because the website froze/locked me out before I could upload everything). But then on Tuesday they announced an encore day and I was determined. I re-did the intro and song and got it submitted with 15 minutes to spare this time. Here is my official entry. I’m one of those singers who could probably sound really good with some personal voice lessons (all I’ve had is my ears and and chorus in middle school at this point). Also, acting like a cocky bastard isn’t my thing, so please don’t treat me like one when judging me. Also, this is the FIRST video of myself I have ever uploaded to the internet. Kind of a big deal for me. Enjoy : )

As for a Badnan.com update: I have been working very hard on the official launch of this site, but I am not going to lie and say my personal life hasn’t kept me extremely busy/drained. I am going to get things in full order so that this site will never be without an update again when it’s ready. Stay tuned. I promise you’ll want to see what’s coming up. GaGa.

That’s me screaming with excitement, anticipation, and Rachel Berry fever. “Gives You Hell” is my life for the next week or more.

Along with sooo many other things in last night’s spring premiere of Glee, I am VERY pleased with the directions this show could go in now. Well, for the rest of the season that is. Idina Menzel is clearly bringing everything to the table. As for Emma’s confession, daaammmmnnn girl!

I don’t like to read spoilers or buy/know the songs until the episode. It kind of COMPLETELY ruins it…so yes, everything was a surprise and I encourage you to watch in the same fashion. With ice cream.

By the way, I am so impressed with how quickly I was able to get the song on iTunes. I love that Glee is completely on top of things. Thank you for understanding how important it is to have the songs available INSTANTLY on iTunes. Keep it up!

Oh, and I ended up in Miami somehow. Just showin some international fams around and enjoying hottness (weather and people…really makes me want to get into shape…hokai!)

Atlanta next week for Owl City/random day in April.

leamichele1Who would have thought that Lea Michele from Glee (far right in picture) had 9 tattoos planted all over her body? Well she does and while that is usually associated with being a bad ass, many (all?) of them are symbolic of people and opportunities in her life. The 23 year old cutie shares one with her fellow Glee cast mates as well. Here’s a break down of them all and a few pictures too:

leamichele2Jenna Ushkowitz (T-T-Tina on Glee) and Kevin McHale (Artie on Glee) into getting matching “Imagine” tats on their left feet. Of the inking, Lea Michele says, “I’m known to be the instigator to do some more risky stuff. So we have little tattoos on our feet now… It made a lot of sense that night.”

That same night, Lea also got a gold star in honor of her Glee character, overachiever/wifey Rachel Berry.

On her wrist, she got I Believe tattooed (because it’s the title track of the Broadway play Spring Awakening which started her career).

leamichele3Her other tattoos include a blue butterfly on her right foot that her cousin drew for her, and another butterfly on her back, which she got with her mom. She also has a bird on her hip, two musical notes — from Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” — on her left shoulder and a tattoo on her thigh that she got in memory of her grandfather, who passed away a year ago. So sweet <3

She’s so cute. I really love this. Why? Because this girl obviously is appreciative of the good things in her life if she’s basically gotten a tattoo for the two well deserved big breaks in her career. I love people who can appreciate a good thing. Next tattoo? Hubby’s name? Adnan? Okay great.

New episodes, new music, and the tour. Amazing.

Okay I’m definitely jumping the gun there, but this preview is driving me crazy (the best kind). I mainly mean the Madonna cover + Rachel (Lea Michele). Just watch. Glee returns April 13…come here faster.
